Electrical Installation Trainer (Full Training Provided)
Newbury
£35,000 + Full Training + Off the Tools + Monday to Friday + Hybrid Working Model + 28% Pension + 46 Days Holiday
Are you a qualified Electrician with strong experience in Electrical Installation?
Do you want to step away from the tools and into a rewarding Monday-to-Friday role, helping train and inspire the next generation of electricians?
This established and forward-thinking education provider is known for delivering exceptional standards of teaching and learning. With government investment driving growth across engineering and construction, the college is expanding its provision and now seeks passionate industry professionals to join their training team.
In this role, you will work closely with apprentices completing their Electrical Installation qualifications. In the first year, you'll focus on developing learners' practical skills, helping them gain confidence and competence in the workshop. Over time, you'll progress to delivering the theory-based elements of the programme, with full training and support provided to help you succeed.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Electrician with solid installation experience. You'll hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and ideally possess or be willing to work towards your 2391 qualification. Teaching experience is not required - just a passion for your trade and the motivation to pass on your skills.

The Role:
Full training and ongoing CPD provided
Work with apprentices at varying stages of their qualification
37-hour week, including approximately 25 hours of teaching

Qualified Electrician with strong installation experience
Holds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
