Electrical Installation Trainer (Full Training Provided)
Newbury
£35,000 + Full Training + Off the Tools + Monday to Friday + Hybrid Working Model + 28% Pension + 46 Days Holiday
Are you a qualified Electrician with strong experience in Electrical Installation?

This established and forward-thinking education provider is known for delivering exceptional standards of teaching and learning. With continued government investment driving growth across engineering and construction, the college is expanding its Electrical provision and is now looking for passionate industry professionals to join their training team. In this role, you will work closely with apprentices completing their Electrical Installation qualifications. Initially, you will focus on developing learners' practical workshop skills, helping them gain confidence and competence in installation techniques. Over time, you will also support the delivery of theory-based learning, with full teacher training and ongoing support provided to help you succeed in the role.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Electrician with strong installation experience. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and ideally hold or be willing to work towards your 2391 qualification. Teaching experience is not required, just a passion for your trade and a desire to pass on your knowledge to the next generation.

The Role:
Full training and ongoing professional development provided
Support apprentices at different stages of their Electrical Installation qualifications
Deliver practical workshop training and support theory sessions
37-hour working week with approximately 25 hours of teaching
Monday to Friday role with hybrid working opportunities
Supportive team environment with modern facilities
The Person:
Qualified Electrician with strong Electrical Installation experience
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
Ideally holds or is willing to work towards the 2391 qualification
Interested in moving into a training or education role
Passionate about developing the next generation of electricians
