Due to rapid company growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our high-performing maintenance team. In this role, you will apply world-class maintenance practices to ensure plant and process equipment operates at optimal efficiency while upholding the highest safety, environmental, food safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out effective repairs of instrument and electrical breakdowns using recognised problem-solving techniques.
Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks to high standards.
Log faults, report defects, and record maintenance activity using a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
Develop and implement prioritised maintenance plans to maximise the use of available maintenance windows.
Generate preventative maintenance instructions informed by historical data and root-cause analysis.
Support mechanical breakdowns and planned maintenance activities, including system diagnostics.
Ensure personal and team adherence to all safety procedures, participating in risk assessments and safety inspections.
Meet environmental objectives and support initiatives to minimise operational environmental impact.
Uphold food safety and quality standards, contributing to internal audits and plant inspections.
Maintain high housekeeping standards through scheduled and responsive cleaning activities.
Accurately complete all relevant documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Assist with spare parts management and inventory control.
Qualifications & Experience:
Apprentice trained in relevant engineering discipline.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Comfortable working at height.
High standards of work quality, personal responsibility, and continuous improvement mindset.
Personal Attributes:
Strong communicator across all levels, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented and systematic in approach.
Able to work effectively in a self-managed team.
