Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Westbury, Wiltshire
Salary: £43,500 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
*
Week 1: Mon–Thu 6:00am–2:00pm, Fri 6:00am–11:30am
*
Week 2: Mon–Thu 2:00pm–10:00pm, Fri 11:30am–5:00pm
*
Week 3: Mon–Thu 10:00pm–6:00am, Fri 5:00pm–10:30pm
We are seeking an experienced or developing Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a modern FMCG manufacturing facility in Westbury, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established, reputable company with a friendly and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Reactive Maintenance: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime.
*
Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Perform scheduled inspections and servicing on production machinery to ensure reliability and compliance with manufacturing targets.
*
Equipment Support: Assist with the installation, upgrade, and modification of electro-mechanical systems.
*
Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support to ensure safe and efficient operations.
*
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and support initiatives to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Person Specification:
*
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
*
Strong electrical focus, with experience diagnosing faults in machinery, control systems, or electrical installations.
*
Proactive, hands-on problem-solving approach.
*
Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment is advantageous but not essential.
*
Motivated to develop a long-term career in maintenance engineering.
