Electrical Maintenance Engineer

📍 Sheffield
 💷 £49,155.59 per annum
 🕒 4 On / 4 Off Shift Pattern | 2 x 12-hour Days, 2 x 12-hour Nights | No Weekends

Stafforce Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected heavy manufacturing business in Sheffield to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will:

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site

Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, performing fault finding and repairs

Complete electrical installation work in line with 18th Edition (BS7671) standards

Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work systems, and HV safety procedures

Support continuous improvement projects and preventative maintenance activities

Accurately record maintenance activities and fault reports using SAP

Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks when required

Support, mentor and develop Electrical Apprentices

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A recognised apprenticeship and be a time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills within an industrial environment

HNC qualification or equivalent experience gained in heavy manufacturing, engineering, or industrial settings

The ability to work a rotating 4-on, 4-off day and night shift pattern

A proactive, safety-first approach with excellent communication skills
