Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Ilkeston
Industry: Heavy (Quarry, Aggregates and Brick Manufacturing)
Shifts: 8 hours Monday to Friday W1: 6am-2pm / W2: 2pm-10pm
Basic Salary: £51,086 p/a
Benefit package: 25 Days Holiday + 3 stats (Christmas day, Boxing day, New years day), 5% pension, overtime rates up to double pay, PPE & Tools provided.

Role: Day shift Maintenance Engineer
*
Breakdown maintenance support, fixing a range of production machinery including conveyor lines, packaging machines, pallet wrappers, kilns and trommels.
*
Mechanical Maintenance including changing gearboxes, motors, bearings, rollers etc.
*
Electrical fault diagnosis & repair changing like for like components.
*
PPM/Routine Maintenance.
*
Project work - Installing machinery, control panels etc.
Entry requirements:
*
5 Years minimum experience as an Maintenance Engineer.
*
Multi-Skilled (Preferably electrically biased but will consider Mechanical bias with electrical competency).
*
Preferred industry experience: Recycling, Brick manufacturing, Aggregates, Quarrying, Mining/Coal boards and foundries but will also look at Food, Distribution & Packaging.
*
Apprenticeship trained with a City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ level 3 qualification in electrical maintenance or installation.
