What You'll Do: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: -Safeguarding the integrity and safety of all manufacturing plant equipment, meeting company standards. -Driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting site projects aligned with corporate goals. -Maintaining accurate records in the computerised maintenance management system for all repairs and modifications. -Managing a comprehensive spares system and ensuring critical stock levels are maintained. -Overseeing MTTR/MTBF metrics, service schedules, and critical machine consumables to enhance operational efficiency. -Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations while managing subcontractor safety. -Training personnel on autonomous maintenance practices to uphold operational standards. -Utilising advanced fault-finding techniques to promptly address breakdowns and minimise production downtime. -Adhering to company policies and procedures in all maintenance activities. -Conducting planned preventative maintenance in line with statutory requirements. -Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs and waste. What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you should have: -A formal craft apprenticeship (or equivalent) with ONC/HNC engineering qualification and hands-on electrical/electronic/mechanical experience. -18th Edition wiring regulations certification (desirable). -2391 Test and Inspection certification (preferred). -High level of computer/PLC literacy (desirable). -MEWP & Forklift license (desired; training available). -Proven skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. -Previous maintenance role experience demonstrating pro activity and capability in addressing complex issues.
