Permanent | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 1-in-5 On-Call Rota
A leading facilities management provider is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a high-security Defence site in Bicester.
This is a critical, long-term role supporting the safety, reliability, and operational integrity of a secure MOD site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems, playing a key part in the ongoing compliance and performance of the estate.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a variety of electrical systems
*
Responding to reactive maintenance issues and diagnosing faults to minimise downtime
*
Ensuring all works comply with current electrical regulations and company standards
*
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and system updates
*
Participating in a 1-in-5 on-call rota to support emergency call-outs when required
*
Working collaboratively with internal teams and, when necessary, external contractors
Required Experience & Qualifications:
*
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
*
Proven experience in electrical maintenance within commercial or industrial settings
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*
Ability to manage workload independently while contributing to a team environment
*
Full UK Driving Licence
*
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC) due to the nature of the site
