Job Description
Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Commercial Environment | Permanent Role | £40-42,000 + Employment Package & Company Vehicle | Upavon, Wiltshire.
Due to increased workload, we are actively recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team on a static basis on a large commercial site based in Upavon, Wilshire. Your role will be involve working as part of a large team carrying out planned and reactive maintenance of electrical building services equipment.
Role Summary:
* Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
* Location: Upavon, Wilshire
* Static role with company vehicle provided.
* Base Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 dependant on qualifications and experience.
* Hours: 08:00am - 5:00pm (site based).
* Package: 33 days paid annual leave including 8 bank holidays, company van provided, fuel card, free on-site parking, company funded training courses and up-skilling , company contribution to pension, income protection scheme, private healthcare plan etc.
Duties / Works:
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your scope of works will be as follows:
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and remedial works across a commercial environment / commercial systems.
* Equipment may include; lamps/ ballasts, lighting upgrades, emergency lighting, decorative and security lighting, sockets, circuits, wiring, cabling, power distribution, transformers, induction motors, power supplies to HVAC / Mechanical / Building Services systems, electrical components within HVAC / Mechanical / Building Services systems.
* Updating site log-books and company CAFM system, providing detailed reports of works etc.
Requirements:
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, we expect you to meet the following requirements:
* Must be a fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds 2360 Part 2 / City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* Must hold testing and inspection qualifications (City & Guilds 2391)
* Up to date regulations: 18th edition.
* Experience within a commercial maintenance role previously.
* Must be able to gain SC Security Clearance due to the nature of the environment.
* Must have a UK driving license with under 9 points.
Desirable but not essential:
* JIB Gold Status - Electrical Installer.
* EV Charger install experience
* CompEx 01-04
