Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Leading FM Service Provider - Oxford Street, London - Up to £50,000 per annum + Excellent Package
Are you a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity with one of the UK's leading FM service providers? This is your chance to take ownership of a brand-new, state-of-the-art commercial building located in the heart of Oxford Street, London.
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a static, single-person site role. The building is approaching practical completion, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved from the very start.
Key Responsibilities: As the sole engineer on-site, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of M&E and fabric maintenance, including both planned and reactive tasks. Duties include:
Electrical works: lighting systems, small installations, fault-finding, ballast replacements, control panels, and power distribution.
Emergency lighting & fire alarm testing.
HVAC support: AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, cleaning), basic chiller resets.
Pumps and motor maintenance.
Basic water treatment (temperature checks – no chemical dosing).
Plumbing: minor repairs such as unblocking toilets, replacing taps and seals.
BMS monitoring (temperature and systems readings).
UPS monitoring and routine checks.
General building fabric and minor handyman tasks.
Escorting and supervising subcontractors on-site.Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40-hour week)
Overtime available (especially at weekends)Salary & Benefits Package:
Up to £50,000 basic salary
£5,000+ annual call-out allowance (£100/week on standby)
25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Electrically qualified with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 & 3
17th or 18th Edition certification
Strong background in commercial building services and M&E maintenance
Proven experience managing a site independently is highly desirable
