A well-established manufacturer of injection-moulded products across various sectors is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team and help keep machinery and facilities running smoothly.
Hours: Monday to Friday – rotating weekly shifts (6am-2:15pm, 10pm-6:15am, 2pm-10:15pm)
Salary: £18.73 per hour
The Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of injection-moulding machinery and associated facilities. Working on a rotating shift, you will support the Production team by responding promptly and safely to maintenance requests, proactively managing repairs, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Your day-to-day activities will include troubleshooting machine faults, installing new equipment, and carrying out preventative maintenance as part of a collaborative team.
Who We’re Looking For
* Experience in factory maintenance, preferably within manufacturing
* Engineering qualifications at Levels 2 & 3, ideally apprentice-trained
* Preferably with an electrical bias and relevant hands-on experience
* Proactive and able to work independently with a methodical approach
* Must be available to work a rotating shift pattern including early, night, and late shifts
