Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Permanent Role
Location: Wolverhampton
Shift Pattern: Double Days (Mon-Fri: alternating weeks 06:00-13:30 / 13:30-21:00)
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 base (negotiable)
We are looking to recruit an electrically biased engineer with hands-on experience in PLC programming, breakdowns, and drives. We're looking for someone who can take initiative, diagnose issues, and deliver effective solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Requirements:
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting day-to-day operations with a focus on electrical maintenance
- Responding to breakdowns and keeping things moving
- Getting involved in improvement projects and system upgrades
What We're Looking For:
- Solid electrical maintenance background (not just mechanical!)
- NVQ Level 3 or Recognised Apprenticeship in a relevant field
- Experience with Siemens equipment and drives
- Ability to perform basic PLC programming
- Proven track record in breakdown response and project work
