The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will:
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on critical manufacturing plant and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests, troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues across heavy machinery.
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose faults and implement fixes quickly and efficiently.
Work closely with a team of engineers and report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring high standards are maintained.
Maintain safety protocols while working at heights or within confined spaces when necessary.
We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Time-served apprenticeship or similar relevant qualifications in electrical maintenance.
Proven experience in electrical maintenance within the manufacturing industry (preferably with heavy machinery).
Strong fault-finding skills, with the ability to quickly assess and resolve electrical issues.
Ability to work safely at heights and within confined spaces as required.
A proactive attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement.
