Your Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will:
Keep production running smoothly by minimising downtime and delivering effective solutions.
Upgrade and modify equipment to boost performance and reliability.
Lead and support project installations, working closely with management on new initiatives and continuous improvement.
Respond quickly to breakdowns, ensuring production stays on track.
Conduct planned maintenance and document all completed tasks.
Help refine and improve the Preventive Maintenance Programme (PPM).
Champion a safe working environment and promote best practices in health and safety.
Identify and resolve issues at source, implementing long-term solutions.
Work collaboratively with the production team to prioritise electrical maintenance tasks.What You'll Need
NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Previous experience as an electrical maintenance technician, electrician, electrical maintenance engineer, etc.
Ideally, experience in heavy industry (chemicals, steel, power, oil & gas, metals, etc.).
Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, panels, relays and lighting. What's On Offer
Hourly Rate: £20.50 - £22.90 per hour (equivalent to £39,975 - £44,655 per year).
Plenty of Overtime: Overtime paid at enhanced rates, with flexible on-call requirements that can often be handled remotely.
Generous Benefits: Company pension, 150 hours of holiday plus bank holidays, and the potential for two annual bonuses.
Convenient Hours: Standard 37.5-hour week, typically Monday to Thursday.About the Company
