Electrical Manager – Static Commercial Building – Guildford, Surrey – Up to £60k
Are you an experienced Hard Services Manager looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the hard services operations of a large commercial building in Guildford, Surrey.
The Role:
As the Hard Services Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management of all mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, ensuring the building remains fully operational and compliant. You will oversee a team of engineers, contractors, and service providers to maintain high standards across BMS, HVAC, generators, and lighting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the planned and reactive maintenance of all hard services
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
* Manage critical systems, including BMS, HVAC, generators, and lighting
* Lead and develop on-site engineers and technical staff
* Liaise with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain high service levels
* Drive energy efficiency initiatives and continuous improvements
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing hard services in a commercial environment
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations (Or Equivalent )
* Strong knowledge of BMS, HVAC, generators, and lighting systems
* Technical background in M&E building services
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage budgets and contractor performance
