About the Role
Join a leading international service provider within the commercial refrigeration industry as an Electrical Manager, where you will be leading the design, installation and supply of refrigeration Electrical systems.
This is a remote-based role offering 37.5 hours of flexible working per week, with occasional travel to the Bradford and Ringwood offices and project locations as required.
As Electrical Manager you'll benefit from the autonomy to manage your own schedule. This role offers a basic salary of £60,000, along with an attractive benefits package including car allowance and bonus
This pivotal role will be instrumental in achieving NICEIC approval, delivering cost-effective solutions, and fostering strong collaboration across teams to support the continued growth of the companies' electrical division.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day management of the electrical division, working closely with the contracting team and subcontracted labour to ensure efficient project delivery and departmental growth
* Ensure all electrical activities comply with legal, health & safety, technical, and installation standards. Champion adherence to industry best practices and internal protocols
* Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key customer representatives to identify opportunities and generate profitable business
* Contribute to competitive tendering, manage financial forecasting, and collaborate with the wider team to ensure the electrical division operates within budget and maximises profitability
* Support the development and execution of projects in partnership with internal stakeholders and external parties including consultants, architects, and principal contractors
* Promote a continuous improvement mindset and instil a culture of growth, learning, and accountability across the electrical team
Skillset & Qualifications Required
You bring a strategic mindset, a proactive and adaptable approach, and strong analytical skills, all underpinned by a customer and team focused attitude. Your excellent communication and management abilities enable you to lead the wider team with confidence and clarity. Ideally, you will also have:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design and management, preferably within the commercial retail sector
* Desirable Qualifications would be 18th Edition (2382-22) Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671, Level 4 – Design, Erection and Verification of Electrical Installations
* A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* A process-driven approach to project delivery, ensuring consistency and quality throughout
* Proficiency in IT, including Electrical design software, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and CRMBefore You Apply
