Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee a large-scale commercial construction project in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing electrical works on complex commercial sites, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
Electrical Manager Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all electrical works on-site from pre-construction through to handover
*
Coordinate with main contractors, sub-contractors, consultants, and client representatives
*
Monitor progress and ensure project milestones are met
*
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
*
Manage material procurement and deliveries in line with project timelines
*
Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and H&S requirements
*
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks
*
Lead weekly site meetings and produce progress reports
Electrical Manager Requirements:
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Manager or similar role on commercial projects
*
Gold ECS minimum ( black card preffered )
*
SMSTS or SSSTS
*
18th edition
*
Strong understanding of BS7671 Wiring Regulations and IET standards
*
Experience working on large commercial builds (e.g. offices, schools, hospitals, retail)
*
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
*
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
