Electrical/Mechanical Engineer Ipswich £35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + On-Call Allowance + Benefits A well-established engineering services business is looking to recruit Electrical/Mechanical Engineers to join its growing team in either Ipswich or Peterborough. Working across both workshop and customer sites, you'll be responsible for the repair, overhaul and maintenance of a wide range of rotating equipment and electromechanical systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong mechanical and electrical experience looking for a varied role offering hands-on workshop work, site-based projects and overtime opportunities. The Role Carry out servicing, overhauls, repairs and testing of pumps, electric motors, gearboxes and fan units Strip and inspect equipment, identify faults and determine repair requirements Attend customer sites for equipment removal, maintenance, repair and reinstallation Complete alignment, bearing replacements, servicing and general electromechanical repairs Ensure all repaired equipment is tested and operating correctly before return to customers Participate in a shared on-call rota for emergency breakdown support The Candidate Previous experience as an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer Experience working on pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans or similar rotating equipment Able to fault find, repair and overhaul industrial machinery Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Organised, methodical and proactive approach to work Full UK driving licence Package Salary dependent on experience Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Overtime opportunities available Shared on-call rota 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Ongoing technical training and development Long-term career opportunities within a well-established engineering business If you're an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineer looking for a varied workshop and field-based role with plenty of hands-on engineering work, please apply today for immediate consideration or contact me directly - (url removed) | (phone number removed) INDSNS If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
