Electrical-Mechanical Service Engineer | Pumps, Drainage & Wastewater Systems Bury St Edmunds (within 20-mile radius) Full-Time | Permanent £32,000 – £45,000 DOE + Overtime + Bonus + Benefits An established and reputable engineering company is looking to hire a skilled Electrical-Mechanical Service Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers a great mix of hands-on technical work across pumps, sewage treatment plants, pump stations, and drainage systems, covering both domestic and commercial sites. The company is known for its supportive culture, professional standards, and long-standing relationships across the region. Key Responsibilities: Service, diagnose, and repair pumps, drainage, and treatment systems Work independently and manage your own workload and schedule Complete job reporting using the BigChange platform Participate in a monthly on-call rota (1 week per month, minimum 5 hours paid) Deliver excellent customer service and maintain site standards Candidate Requirements: Electrical and/or mechanical experience (full product training provided) Must live within a 20-mile radius of Bury St Edmunds Full UK driving licence Able to work independently, solve problems, and document work clearly Organised, tidy, and methodical in approach What’s On Offer: Salary £32,000 – £45,000 depending on experience Overtime at £25/hour Monthly & annual company profitability bonuses Company van (available for commuting) Flexible working hours – standard 7am–5pm, Mon–Fri, with options to adjust for work-life balance 21 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme Mobile phone allowance Call-out payment (min 5 hours) Summer BBQ & Christmas Party – supportive, team-focused environment Employer Overview: The employer is a trusted name in the wastewater and pump servicing industry, offering a long-term career opportunity with variety, stability, and professional development.
