Job Description

Electrical / Mechatronics Technician Location: West Dublin Salary: €45,000 – €52,000 This isn’t a production-line role. If you’re used to building the same thing every day, this will feel different. This is a hands-on position working on bespoke automated machinery, where each project is different and you’re involved across the full build. You’ll be working in a small team, wiring, assembling, and bringing machines together from the ground up. The Role You’ll be involved in the build of custom automation equipment from initial assembly through to testing. The work is primarily electrical, but you’ll also support mechanical assembly as part of the build process. Day-to-day, that means: * Wiring and building control panels and machinery * Working from electrical schematics and technical drawings * Assembling mechanical components as part of machine builds * Supporting testing and fault finding during build and commissioning * Working closely with engineers and the wider build team What They’re Looking For This suits someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be involved in building real equipment, not just maintaining it. You’ll need: * Experience with electrical wiring or assembly * Ability to read and work from schematics * Experience working on machinery, equipment, or similar systems * Willingness to get involved on the mechanical side Nice to have, but not essential: * Exposure to PLCs * Background in automation or special purpose machinery * Mechatronics experience Why Consider It * Work on varied, bespoke projects rather than repeat production * Get involved across full machine builds * Small team, hands-on environment * Stable business with consistent project work Who This Suits Someone who: * Prefers hands-on build work over design * Enjoys variety in what they’re working on * Wants to develop across both electrical and mechanical disciplines * Has worked in, or wants to move into, a machine build environment Next Steps If this sounds like something you’d be open to, apply or get in touch to discuss further
