Job Description
Electrical Project Engineer
Exciting new long term contract Electrical Project Engineering opportunity within projects office of well-established Pharmaceutical multinational
Opportunity
* Provide Electrical engineering design for projects.
* Support client project engineering through continuous improvement providing tech and pragmatic insight of project delivery processes and understanding end user needs.
* Coordinate all Electrical/Instrumentation items with senior client engineer.
* Develop close interaction with people in Utilities, Production, Environmental, tech and admin staff.
* Working with stakeholders and vendors to define and implement projects to meet requirement of user areas, on time, within budget, and meeting all regulatory requirements.
Education:
* Diploma Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering
* Full proficiency in MS Office suite and MS Project
* Excellent communication skills essential.
Duties:
* Preparation of Electrical & Instrumentation Design Deliverables, including Electrical & Instrumentation Specifications, Electrical & Instrumentation Block wiring diagrams, Instrument IO lists, motive power schematics, Power Distribution
* Develop project SOWs in collaboration with respective disciplines and end user representative.
* Able to work on own initiative and recommend problem solving techniques or implement solutions to resolve engineering, systems, contractor and vendor challenges arising on site.
* Provide electrical/instrumentation construction management overview for project.
* Technical and commercial review of Electrical & Instrumentation Contractor project bids in collaboration with purchasing to issue contracts.
* Understand Validation requirements, specifically URS, DQ, IQ, OQ and IDQ documentation.
* Review purchasing of major equipment and ensuring compliance with current regulations and client
* Understand client local and corporate procedures and ensure the project complies with them.
* Be a safety advocate, adhering to and promoting client Safety standards throughout.
* Single Line Diagrams, Electrical Services layouts, Electrical Schedules, load studies.
* Provide estimates and technical guidance to user areas for CIR completion.
* Draft initial CIR presentation for project approval.
* Generating detailed scope of work Tender and Construction packages.
* Review of electrical & instrumentation packages prepared by EPCM companies.
* Understand GMP requirements and ensure compliance with project design.
* Specifically, comply with project execution procedure/guideline.
* Monitoring project for compliance to scope, pricing and scheduleBefore You Apply
