Job Description

Electrical Project Engineer Location: Port Talbot (SA13) Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (based on competency and experience) Permanent Full time:Monday - Friday Site Based Do you want to play a pivotal role in one of the most exciting engineering projects in Europe? As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of this transformation. From scoping and estimating, to contractor management, installation and commissioning, you'll be part of a diverse and highly skilled team tackling complex engineering challenges with innovation and safety at the heart of everything we do. Develop robust project plans, technical specifications and requests for quotations. Oversee contractors and OEM partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Lead and document safety studies (risk assessments, HAZOP, FMEA) and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Provide expert technical input, troubleshooting and problem-solving support to internal teams. Represent the organisation with professionalism when liaising with external stakeholders and regulatory authorities. Requirements: Degree in Engineering and Chartered Engineer status (desirable but not essential) Strongindustry experience (Heavy industrial/Manufacturing/large scale engineering environments) Solid understanding of project management techniques, risk assessments, and UKhealth and Safety legislation Strong verbal and written communication skill. High level of engineering competency in electrical disciplines. Excellent time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Why join us?
