Job Description

Electrical Project Engineer East Yorkshire | £45,000 - £55,000 + car allowance The role in a nutshell: If you've cut your teeth on electrical projects and want to step into a role where you'll be trusted to design, specify, and deliver, this could be it. You'll take projects from concept through to completion, working on high-tech horticultural and energy installations. Project values range from £100k up to £3m, so there's real variety. Why this role? Work on cutting-edge horticulture and energy projects - from glasshouses to vertical farms. Be involved end-to-end: research, design, build, commission, support. Collaborate with in-house workshops and a team that deliver what they design. Big electrical projects lined up with complex systems, valves, and heavy loads. A sector that's growing and innovating fast. What you'll be doing: Turning enquiries into workable concept designs. Producing CAD drawings, bills of materials, and project timelines. Supporting tenders and attending client meetings. Managing delivery - from design through to installation and handover. Helping resolve site issues when they arise. Pulling together O&M manuals, certificates, and warranties. Being the point of contact for clients post-handover. What's in it for you? Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + car allowance. A role that's roughly 50/50 design & build. Investment in CPD and professional development. Travel is a mix of home, office, and site visits - ideally within an hour's drive of East Yorkshire.
