Electrical Project Manager (Electrical PM)

About the Role
Our client is a leading electrical and building services contractor delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and data centre projects across Ireland and the UK. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of key electrical packages from inception through to completion on major Dublin-based projects.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of electrical installations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the key interface between clients, site teams, subcontractors, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver electrical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover
Manage programme, budget, procurement, and resource planning
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
Monitor progress, cost control, variations, and reporting
Ensure compliance with Irish H&S regulations, QA standards, and electrical standards (e.g. ET101 / BS7671 where applicable)
Lead client and site meetings
Review technical submittals, drawings, RAMS, and commissioning plans
Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover documentation
Drive project performance and productivity on site
About You
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer within MEP/building services
Strong technical understanding of electrical installations (commercial, industrial, pharma or data centre experience preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Commercial awareness including cost control, variations, and valuations
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Full driving licence requiredDesirable:
HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
SMSTS / IOSH
Experience working on Tier 1 or large-scale projects
Salary, Benefits & Package
Salary
€80,000 - €110,000 base salary (depending on experience)
Senior or large-scale project experience: up to €120,000+
Holiday
25-30 days annual leave, plus statutory Irish public holidays, with potential additional company shutdown periods (e.g. Christmas)
Pension and Benefits
Employer pension contribution typically 5%-8%, with stronger packages up to 10%+ for senior or Tier 1 level roles.
