The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical package on a £5m industrial unit refurbishment scheme in Stockton-on-Tees. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing daily site operations, and ensuring all works are completed in line with design specifications and within safety protocols. This role requires a technically proficient and highly organised professional with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive the programme forward efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Client engagement
Conduction of audits
Provide expert electrical guidance
Oversee daily electrical operations
Direct management and liaison with subcontractors
Conduct thorough project assessments and analyses
Resolve challenges that could affect project timelines
Maintain and enforce health and safety standards on-site
Working closely and directly reporting to Contracts Manager
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimise them
Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to the schedule
Handle client concerns promptly, ensuring a professional approach
Analyse and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and design documents
Identify and allocate necessary resources, including staff, equipment, and materials
Ensure all electrical work complies with regulatory, environmental, and quality standards
Collaborate with procurement to ensure the on-time delivery of materials and equipment
Provide regular project updates and progress reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Set and maintain quality control standards to ensure project deliverables meet the defined requirements
