Job Description

Client: My client are a mechanical and electrical building services contractor specialising in high end residential, commercial, laboratory and hospital projects across London and the home counties. Trading for over 20 years, our client is recognised as a market leading MEP contractor. Projects can range from £2m - £10m+ MEP value.

Development of good working relationships with their clients is key to our client’s success. As a result, they benefit from a large amount of repeat business. The majority of their client base comes through personal recommendation, referrals and repeat business and includes numerous Tier 1 Contractors.

Role/Responsibilities:

  * Management of subcontractor labour

  * All health and safety

  * Progress Reporting

  * Review and amend RAMS

  * Understanding of design & drawings

  * Snagging

  * Testing and commissioning

  * Driving job

  * Pre - construction

  * Overseeing all installation and managing a large group

  * Quality assurance

The ideal candidate:

  * Have a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role

  * Hold a current SSSTS / CSCS

  * Must have experience running Electrical Projects over £1M

  * Ideally have experience within the residential or commercial sector.

  * Strong communication skills

  * A willingness to develop their career and to strive towards promotion
