The Opportunity

A well-established MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team, delivering a range of critical, commercial, and healthcare projects across Essex and London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and respected contractor offering genuine long-term progression, with a clear pathway to step into a Senior Project Manager role when ready.

Role Overview

You will take responsibility for managing electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery across multiple live environments.

The role requires a strong understanding of complex project delivery within critical and sensitive environments, alongside solid commercial and technical awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Manage electrical projects from inception to handover

  * 

    Oversee delivery across critical, commercial, and healthcare schemes

  * 

    Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

  * 

    Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and specifications

  * 

    Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance

  * 

    Manage procurement, variations, and project reporting

  * 

    Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

  * 

    Support commissioning and final project handover

Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within MEP/building services

  * 

    Strong background working on critical, healthcare, or commercial projects (essential)

  * 

    Excellent organisational and leadership skills

  * 

    Strong commercial awareness and contract understanding

  * 

    Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project demands
