Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong commercial construction background to join our team on a major commercial project.

Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  * Manage electrical projects from inception through to successful completion.

  * Take responsibility for programme, budget, quality, and delivery of electrical packages.

  * Manage electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

  * Coordinate electrical works with the wider construction programme and other trades.

  * Review drawings, specifications, programmes, and technical documentation.

  * Attend project and client meetings, providing regular progress updates.

  * Monitor project costs, variations, procurement, and commercial performance.

  * Ensure electrical works are delivered safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and project standards.

  * Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.

Electrical Project Manager Requirements

  * Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial construction.

  * Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations and building services.

  * Demonstrable experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.

  * Strong understanding of project programmes, procurement, cost control, and subcontractor management.

  * Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
