Electrical Project Manager
Location: Hampshire - Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 (reflective of experience and seniority) + Company Car or Car Allowance and Benefits Package
About the company
A well-established Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor based in Hampshire, operating across multiple sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and public buildings, and delivering both pre-designed and full design & build M&E installations valued between £50,000 and £5 million.
The opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager who is looking for genuine progression into a leadership position. Working closely with the Directors and project delivery teams, you will take full responsibility for managing electrical projects from design through to completion.
As Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of delivery, including design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover, ensuring that all electrical works are completed safely, on time, and to a consistently high standard. The role also offers a clear development path, making it ideal for someone ambitious who wants to take the next step in their career.
This position would suit a professional Electrical Project Manager who values stability and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full lifecycle of multiple electrical projects across the South
* Coordinate design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities
* Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
* Maintain strong client relationships and uphold company standards on quality and safety
* Take ownership of financial control, variations, and budget management
* Ensure compliance with NICEIC regulations and act (or progress into) the Principal Duty Holder role
Requirements
* At least 10 years’ experience within an electrical contracting environment
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on commercial design and build projects
* Stable employment history showing long-term commitment to previous employers
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Commercially astute with the ability to manage budgets and costs effectively
* Ambitious, professional, and motivated to progress within the business
Remuneration Package – Electrical Project Manager
* £70,000 – £85,000 basic salary (reflective of experience and seniority)
