Job Description
MK- Search have partnered with a well respected M&E contractor with a turnover of £150m and a strong long-standing relationships with leading main contractors delivering notable projects across sectors who are looking for an electrical project manager to join their central London team to work on a £12m M&E commercial shell & core and cat A fit out project. Reporting to an MEP operations manager, you will join from pre-construction stage, and work alongside a mechanical equivalent to lead the electrical package from a technical and management perspective through the project stages and to PC due in mid 2027.
Key to this role is relationship management, team coordination and project reporting. The position will be supported by a team of engineers, construction managers and supervisors
Role/Responsibilities:
* Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant
* Technical submittals
* RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors
* Value Engineering where applicable
* Programming of works – using MS Project or Asta project
* Health & Safety management (RAMs)
* Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)
*
* Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey.
* Management of variations
* Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors)
* Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings
* Overseeing commissioning stages
* Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover
