Job Description

Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS)

Salary: £52,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Location: Office-based

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to join an established electrical and maintenance team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or QS looking to move into a stable, office-based compliance and supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities

  * Act as the company’s Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, overseeing electrical standards and compliance.

  * Review and monitor electrical installation, testing and remedial works.

  * Ensure electrical works are completed in accordance with BS 7671 and current regulations.

  * Review EICRs, electrical certificates and test results for accuracy and compliance.

  * Provide technical support and guidance to electricians and electrical teams.

  * Monitor the quality of completed electrical works and identify any remedial requirements.

  * Support the management of electrical compliance across projects and contracts.

  * Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers and internal teams regarding electrical requirements.

  * Maintain accurate compliance records and electrical documentation.

  * Assist with audits, quality checks and continuous improvement of electrical procedures.

  * Ensure company electrical policies and safe working practices are followed.

  * Investigate electrical issues and provide appropriate technical solutions.

Requirements

  * Previous experience working as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor / Electrical QS.

  * Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical inspection and testing.

  * Relevant electrical qualifications, ideally including 2391.

  * Experience reviewing EICRs and electrical certification.

  * Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

  * Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  * Comfortable working in an office-based environment.

  * Ability to support and advise electricians and contractors.

  * Social housing / maintenance experience would be advantageous.
