About the Role
As the Electrical Qualifications Manager, you’ll take ownership of developing, maintaining, and quality-assuring qualifications in the Electrotechnical sector. You’ll play a key role in ensuring qualifications remain technically accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose in a rapidly evolving industry.
Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring and responding to changes in legislation and industry standards

Reviewing and improving qualifications, exams, and assessments

Representing the organisation at sector committees and technical forums

Leading qualification writers, exam developers, and technical specialists

Upholding principles of accessibility, equality, and diversity in all development activities
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll bring a strong mix of technical expertise and quality assurance know-how. You’re likely to have:

A Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in building services
*
A recognised qualification in external quality assurance
*
Broad experience in training, assessing, and QA across electrotechnical and building services
*
Deep understanding of assessment and accreditation processes

Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills

Confidence working independently and collaboratively across teams
