Electrical Qualified Supervisor
* Dartford (Office-based)
* Salary: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per annum
* Job Type: Permanent
* Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join our team.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee and lead a team of electricians, ensuring all electrical works meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Your technical expertise and leadership will be crucial in maintaining operational excellence and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor for the company and participate in annual assessments in line with enrolment rules.
* Serve as the main point of contact between NICEIC, management, and clients.
* Perform regular audits and assessments of electricians and subcontractors to ensure compliance with BS 7671 and The Electricity at Work Regulations.
* Review and verify all inspection and testing reports to prevent invoicing delays.
* Manage the issue, receipt, and compliance tracking of electrical certifications and local authority notifications.
* Deliver toolbox talks (TBSs) and maintain CPD records in line with EAS requirements.
* Act as the primary technical contact for site-based electricians and provide day-to-day support.
* Conduct quality assurance inspections, audits, and witness testing.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of calibration for all test equipment.
* Supervise and support engineers delivering planned electrical installations and responsive maintenance. Provide technical training, mentoring, and guidance for the engineering team.
* Liaise with clients to maintain high levels of satisfaction and uphold service standards.
About You
You will bring a proactive mindset, strong supervisory experience, and a deep understanding of electrical compliance and safety standards.
Essential
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Qualified Supervisor.
* Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
* Proficient in certification software and general IT tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
* In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, inspection, and testing, and reporting on installation condition.
* Experience working within the social housing sector,
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3, AM2, 18th Edition, and City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent).
* Full UK Driving Licence Desirable
* ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician status).
* SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
