Job Description
Shero Talent Consultancy is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join a leading electrical contracting team working on prestigious and complex commercial projects. This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for someone with strong commercial awareness, hands-on experience, and a commitment to quality.
You’ll be working alongside a Senior Estimator and a team of Project QSs on a variety of high-profile developments across South London and surrounding areas.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
* Assist with a smooth transition from tender stage to project delivery
* Generate detailed cost estimates, tenders, and valuations
* Manage cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor packages
* Oversee projects from procurement through to final account
* Conduct site visits and attend client meetings
* Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and final accounts
* Provide ongoing cost reporting and forecasting
* Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
* Identify and manage contractual claims and disputes
✅ Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying/Estimating, preferably within electrical contracting
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and commercial reporting
* Experience using Cypher or similar quantity surveying software
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive and professional approach to all aspects of the role
