Astute's Power Team is partnering with a well-established and growing specialist engineering provider, recognised for its nationwide support of industrial and commercial power systems, to recruit an Electrical Field Service Engineer for its Worcester based team (with nationwide travel).

Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Field Service Engineer role

Reporting to the Electrical Team Lead you will:

Install, commission, service and repair UPS and inverter drive systems
Work across single-phase and three-phase electrical setups
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and control logic
Carry out occasional light mechanical tasks (e.g., drilling, wiring)
Travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays 

Professional qualifications 

We are looking for someone with the following:

Level 3 (or UK equivalent) qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
18th Edition certification (ideal but not essential)
Experience working with single and three-phase systems
Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics 

Personal skills 

The Electrical Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is:

Flexible and willing to travel across the UK
Customer-focused with strong communication skills
Practical, hands-on, and confident working independently
Keen to learn and develop with specialist equipment
