Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights

The Role

Core Operations & Efficiency: Safely operating production facilities to deliver SKUs strictly in line with prescribed quality standards, timeframes, and production plans-all while managing operating costs and supporting site KPIs. Covering other operational roles as staffing demands dictate.

Maintenance & Engineering Support: Working closely with Engineering colleagues to minimize breakdowns, outages, and downtime, as well as actively assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).

Quality, EHS & Compliance: Adhering strictly to Environmental Management System standards, supporting pest control initiatives, and executing hazard/accident reporting. Supporting customer complaint processes through QC checks, root-cause investigations, and operational improvements.

Continuous Improvement & Leadership: Proactively collaborating with the Production Manager and Team Manager/Shift Lead to tackle bottlenecks, drive ongoing plant efficiency, and support site improvement works linked to audit compliance. Deputizing for senior staff and assisting in emergency/incident responses when required.

The Candidate

Proven operational experience within a modern processing, FMCG, or manufacturing environment.

Good technical aptitude with hands-on experience supporting basic mechanical maintenance/PPMs.

A strong, proactive safety mindset with experience following environmental standards and hazard reporting processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and plant efficiency.

Experience in an Electrical Maintenance role previously. Happy to look at candidates 50/50 bias. Electrical qualifications are highly desriable.
