Job Description

PURPOSE OF ROLE: To provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service. Ensure Technicians PPM work is undertaken in-line with agreed timelines / SLA's, PPM backlog is maintained at a realistic level and all Reactive Work is completed within acceptable timescales and SLA standards. Checking completed work and documentation by Technicians and ensuring compliance with current legislation. Assist Technicians with major fault finding using proven diagnostic skills. Costing Reactive and Small Project Work and supervising the completion of these works. Where required assist with PPM workload to maintain SLA's and with Out of Hours emergency call-out. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation, company health and safety systems and procedures. Provide excellent service delivery by ensuring PPM tasks and reactive works are completed within contractual Service Level Agreement’s to meet KPI’s. To maintain premises to an exceptionally high standards through a proactive service delivery methodology Develop excellent working relationships with our client their staff or appointed representative through good customer service. To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audit either by internal or external parties. Work as part of a collaborative team and assist where necessary and required so that all contractual obligations are met. Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Required to undertake Overtime where works cannot be performed during Non-Working Hours Manage the completion of minor works carried out by others Liaise directly with the onsite FM Team and other service partners so that a collaborative working relationships are formed Utilise the clients CAFM system so that accurate information is provide related to our service Demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery of all work. · Carry out Electrical Maintenance / Installation work efficiently and in accordance with the National Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry, the current IET Wiring Regulations for the Requirements of Electrical Installations BS7671, and the Construction Industry Safety Regulations. · Ensure that all Operational activities are carried out in Compliance with internal regulations and external Legislation governing the Business Operations. · Where required use extensive Technical Knowledge assisting Engineers on Fault Finding & Diagnostics. · Capable of working independently and managing Reactive Works & Small Projects carried out by others. Completing all required documentation, job sheets and certificates. ESSENTIAL: · Minimum of 3 years working at Senior Level, probably as Multi-Skilled Technician, experienced on Industrial, Commercial & Domestic manufacturers systems, carrying out PPM's in line with SFG20 or equalivant with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience. · Capable of Supervising Reactive Repairs and Small Projects. · Experienced in Statutory & Mandatory Compliance Maintenance Records / Certification and uploading onto Service Systems. · Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential) · City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 OR equivalent · Level 3 Electrical OR equivalent ·_ City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition_ · Capable of working independently. · Excellent customer service skills – very client facing
