As the Electrical Site Escort, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Electrical Site Escort, will be responsible for:
* Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for all specialist engineering subcontractors on site.
* Ensure subcontractors are properly inducted and fully understand site rules, safety procedures, and work requirements.
* Collaborate with site teams and subcontractors to plan and schedule work to minimise disruption to operations.
* Oversee and manage the Permit to Work process for subcontractor activities, ensuring full compliance with site procedures.
* Use your electrical expertise to review subcontractor proposals, risk assessments, and method statements for technical accuracy and safety.
* Monitor subcontractor work quality to ensure it meets required standards and specifications.
* Track subcontractor progress, identify potential delays or issues, and report findings to site management.
* Maintain clear and effective communication with subcontractors, internal teams, and client representatives.
* Act as first point of contact for resolving issues or queries related to subcontractor work.
* Ensure subcontractors comply with all relevant health, safety, environmental regulations, and site-specific GMP standards where applicable.
To be successful for this Electrical Site Escort role you must have:
* Recognised electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a technical engineering role.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach focused on accuracy, compliance, and safety.
