Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead and coordinate electrical installation works on a commercial construction project. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.

Electrical Site Manager Key Responsibilities

  * Manage day-to-day electrical site operations on a commercial build project

  * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour teams

  * Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification

  * Oversee installation quality and maintain compliance with regulations and project standards

  * Chair and attend site meetings with project teams and clients

  * Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

  * Monitor progress, manage site reporting, and resolve operational issues

  * Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities

  * Maintain strong health & safety standards and site documentation

  * Work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth delivery

Electrical Site Manager Requirements

  * Gold / Black ECS card

  * SSSTS / SMSTS

  * Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on commercial construction projects

  * Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and construction sequencing

  * Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities

  * Experience delivering projects to programme and budget targets

  * Excellent communication and leadership skills

  * Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
