Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical works on a commercial or industrial project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Manage and coordinate all on-site electrical activities and subcontractors
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, including RAMS and permits
*
Oversee installation of electrical systems (power, lighting, containment, fire alarms, etc.)
*
Liaise with the project team, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
*
Monitor progress against programme and report to Project Manager or Contracts Manager
*
Organise labour, materials, and site logistics
*
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure safe systems of work
*
Carry out quality checks and ensure works are completed to relevant standards and drawings
*
Support commissioning and handover activities
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on commercial/industrial projects
*
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices
*
SMSTS or SSSTS
*
ECS/CSCS Card (Supervisory or Managerial level preferred)
*
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
*
Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
*
First Aid at Work
*
Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
*
Experience with LV switchgear, BMS, or data centresBefore You Apply
