Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical Supervisor to join our team due to a continuation of growth and new projects.
Main duties and responsibilities
We are looking to on board an additional electrical supervisor to our team, the ideal candidate will be able to oversee the daily performance of workers as well as set goals and deadlines for jobs they manage. They will also be expected to organize employees' workflow, ensure that they understand their duties, have the ability to monitor productivity and provide feedback as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess actual installation progress against forecasted installation program.
* Accountability for any day-to-day queries that may arise, including performance management.
* Ensure site installation complies with the project specification requirements.
* Inspect installation for defects and initiate rectification.
* Attend site co-ordination meetings as requested.
* Effectively manage labour and resources.
* Take ownership and responsibility of ongoing projects.
* Communicate well with managers and on-site staff keeping them updated on the progress of current contracts as well as providing support and direction.
* Enthusiasm towards working with apprentices and trainees with the ability to provide guidance and support.
* A highly motivated individual capable of motivating others.
What we’re looking for:
* Minimum 5 years previous electrical experience.
* Proven experience as a supervisor or similar relevant role.
* Be comfortable using smart phone/tablet/laptop.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Manual work included on a daily basis.
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
* 18th Edition, 2391 or equivalent (Desirable)
* SSSTS
* Strong knowledge of electrical wiring systems
