Job Description
Electrical Supervisor
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a commercial office fit-out project. This is a freelance role ideal for someone who has strong site-based supervisory experience and can ensure all electrical works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
*
Supervise all electrical operatives on site, including subcontractors
*
Interpret and work from drawings, specifications, and design documents
*
Carry out routine inspections and maintain quality control of all installations
*
Coordinate daily with other trade supervisors, the Project Manager, and Site Manager
*
Enforce health & safety requirements: RAMS, PPE compliance, and safe working practices
*
Review test & inspection paperwork and commissioning documentation
*
Monitor progress, identify potential delays or risks, and escalate where necessary
*
Assist with snagging, defect resolution, and handover documentation
*
Maintain accurate daily/weekly reports, timesheets, and material usage records
Required Qualifications & Experience
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor
*
Proven supervisory background on commercial or industrial projects
*
Valid ECS Gold Card
*
SSSTS qualification
*
Full UK Driving Licence
