Electrical Maintenance Supervisor – Wigston – £43,300

Location: Wigston, Leicestershire (LE18)
Salary: £43,300 per annum
Shifts: Monday to Friday (08:00–16:30)

About the Role

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large commercial site in Wigston, Leicestershire (LE18).

You’ll be responsible for overseeing a technical engineering team, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered effectively across electrical systems within a modern commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Supervisor

  * Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities across electrical systems and building services equipment.

  * Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance when required.

  * Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.

  * Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, and control systems.

  * Support and coordinate a multi-skilled maintenance team to ensure high standards of service delivery.

  * Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

Requirements of the Electrical Supervisor

  * City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations / Engineering.

  * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.

  * Previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineer position within a commercial or critical environment.

  * Strong fault-finding ability and good knowledge of building services systems.

  * Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
