Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a project in Monk Fryston Substation, starting 17 August 2026

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical works on site, coordinating a team of multi-skilled operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme.

Key Responsibilities

  * Supervise and coordinate daily works on site.

  * Work effectively with a team of multi-skilled operatives.

  * Coordinate works in line with the project programme and agreed deadlines.

  * Manage and coordinate subcontractors and their daily activities.

  * Allocate daily tasks and complete allocation sheets.

  * Complete POWRA and all relevant site paperwork and documentation.

  * Ensure works are carried out safely and to the required standards.

  * Monitor progress and communicate any issues or delays to the site management team.

  * Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project.

  * Liaise with site management, operatives and subcontractors to ensure effective delivery of the works.

Essential Requirements

  * Proven experience working as an Electrical Supervisor / Site Supervisor.

  * SMSTS qualification.

  * NVQ Level 3 minimum.

  * Occupational Works Supervisor qualification.

  * Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.

  * Experience supervising multi-skilled teams and subcontractors.

  * Good organisational and communication skills.

  * Ability to coordinate works effectively against a programme.

  * Ability to complete site documentation, including allocation sheets, POWRA and relevant paperwork
