Job Description
Job Summary:
Marble Talent are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across facilities or project sites. This role involves supervising a team of electricians and ensuring all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of electrical technicians and subcontractors.
* Ensure electrical work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company safety standards.
* Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
* Conduct inspections of electrical installations and systems to ensure proper operation and compliance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely manner.
* Order and maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.
* Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
* Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met.
* Maintain documentation including work logs, incident reports, and maintenance records.
* Enforce adherence to safety protocols and participate in regular safety meetings.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
* Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master Electrician, as required by local regulations).
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, safety codes, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management software is a plus.
Working Conditions:
* Work may be performed in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
* Requires standing, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
* May involve rotating shifts or on-call availability for emergency repairs.
