Job Description
Electrical Supervisor – Commercial, Healthcare & Education Projects
Location: North Yorkshire Region
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + package (including 20% uplift for working away)
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of commercial, healthcare, and education projects across the North Yorkshire region. This is a site-based role focused on managing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout project delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Supervising electrical works across live sites within the commercial, healthcare, and education sectors
*
Conducting daily inspections and overseeing electrical installations
*
Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and ensuring work is completed to standard
*
Enforcing health & safety compliance on-site
*
Coordinating with electrical subcontractors, engineers, and project teams
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role
*
Strong understanding of electrical systems including containment, distribution boards, wiring, and testing
*
Up-to-date knowledge of electrical regulations and health & safety practices (e.g., BS7671, NICEIC standards)
*
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents
*
A site-focused, hands-on approach — this is not an office-based position
Package includes:
*
Base salary of £50,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)
*
20% uplift when staying away from home
*
Travel and accommodation covered when required
*
Pension and other company benefits
