Electrical Supervisor – Bromley – £55,000
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team based in Bromley. This is a hands-on role offering a competitive salary of up to £55,000, with an excellent opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities within a well-established and supportive company.
Job Description:
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing and supporting a team of electricians working across commercial and residential sites. You'll be responsible for ensuring quality standards, managing performance, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations — all while remaining actively involved in the delivery of electrical installations, small works, and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise a team of 5 electricians, ensuring high standards of work
* Assist with hands-on electrical installations and reactive maintenance
* Conduct regular spot checks and inspections
* Enforce health & safety and company policy compliance
* Lead toolbox talks and technical safety briefings
* Organise and lead regular team meetings
* Monitor and report on field staff performance for evaluations
* Manage and support apprentice development and training
* Oversee company vehicle checks and related documentation
* Develop and expand the sub-contractor workforce as needed
* Source and implement continued professional development (CPD) for team members
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
* City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the electrical industry
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
