We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Supervisor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Electrical Supervisor, will be responsible for:
* Act as an Authorised Person for electrical systems and a Task Supervisor under the site safety regime (training provided).
* Line-manage electrical operatives, including their induction, briefings, technical guidance, performance monitoring, and ensuring adherence to health and safety.
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of buildings, including:
1. Electrical inspection and testing
2. Emergency lighting and RCD testing
3. PAT testing
4. Repair/replacement of lamps, sockets, and minor installations
* Complete NICEIC certification and electrical documentation to required standards.
* Participate in the on-call rota, providing emergency response and overseeing out-of-hours support for electrical operatives.
* Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams professionally, both in writing and verbally.
* Provide minor building fabric support and assist with general repairs and contractor escort duties.
* Work proactively and independently, but also support other trades and team members when required.
* Ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with current health and safety legislation.
* Be willing and able to work in radiologically controlled areas, including wearing appropriate PPE and undergoing necessary training and medical clearance.
To be successful for this Electrical Supervisor role you must have:
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation).
* City & Guilds 2392 or 2394/95 (Inspection and Testing).
* City & Guilds 2330 or equivalent NVQ qualification.
* City & Guilds 2377 (Portable Appliance Testing).
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* Experience working in commercial and industrial electrical environments.
* Familiarity with NICEIC certification procedures and ability to act as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (or willingness to train).
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices and safe systems of work.
* Flexible and adaptable approach; willing to undertake non-trade-specific tasks as needed.
* Experience with access equipment and manual handling tasks (IPAF/PASMA preferred).
* Friendly, proactive, and customer-focused with strong communication skills.
* Willingness to become a monitored radiation worker and operate in radiological zones following appropriate training.
