Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day electrical works on a high-profile commercial fit-out project
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and respected M&E contractor delivering exceptional results across the UK.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring all electrical installations are completed to the highest standards—on time, on budget, and in full compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
*
Supervise on-site electrical teams, subcontractors, and junior staff
*
Coordinate daily site activities and delegate work efficiently
*
Ensure all electrical works comply with 18th Edition regulations and health & safety standards
*
Liaise with project managers, site managers, and other trades
*
Monitor quality control, resolve technical issues, and maintain project timelines
*
Maintain documentation and daily reports including progress, inspections, and tool box talks
*
Ensure materials and equipment are available and ordered in advance
*
Conduct site inductions and briefings when required
Essential Requirements
*
ECS Gold Card
*
SSSTS or SMSTS certification
*
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
*
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
*
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within commercial construction
*
Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
*
Right to work in the UK
Desirable Qualifications
*
City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Testing & Inspection)
*
First Aid at Work
*
PASMA / IPAF (Preferred but not essential)
*
Full UK Driving Licence
