Electrical Supervisor / Manager – Residential Project – Dundee (Freelance Contract)
Location: Dundee, Scotland
Rate: Competitive Day Rate (Accommodation Provided if Required)
Contract Length: 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently working in partnership with a highly respected Mechanical & Electrical Contractor who have secured a major 12-month residential project in Dundee. Due to the scale and complexity of the scheme, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Manager to oversee the electrical element of the works on a freelance basis.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing all electrical works on-site, from initial setup through to final handover, ensuring quality, safety, and delivery milestones are met. You’ll work closely with both the client and other contractors, coordinating the electrical package and leading a team of electricians and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate electrical works across the site
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with design, quality standards, and health & safety regulations
* Liaise with the Mechanical Supervisor and wider site management team
* Manage and monitor labour levels and subcontractor performance
* Attend site meetings and provide progress reports
* Support commissioning and oversee handover process
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Manager on residential new build projects
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical installation and systems
* Experience managing works from start to finish including handover
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* SSSTS/SMSTS, ECS/CSCS card, and relevant qualifications/certifications
Additional Info:
* This is a freelance / contract role expected to last 12 months
* Accommodation provided for candidates who are not local to Dundee
* Immediate start available for the right candidate
